"Absolutely fantastic accommodation"
Just returned today from staying at Elderslie Guest House with my wife for 2 nights. We arrived on Saturday, parked our car in the private secure parking space, and walked into the town which took us 20 mins to the centre of the town, as we took our time and toddled down the hill. When we came back Pat welcomed us at the door, and showed us up to the room, Room 4. This room was amazing. There was a lovely en-suite with walk in shower. We had a good size TV, and also the details on the free Wi-Fi ( which was great speed). The room had a bay window overlooking the bike track and the on looking hills. It was so quiet and peaceful. There was a menu for breakfast with several options. ( I had the crepe, with fruit and Greek yougurt. ..awesome , and the next day I had the cooked breakfast ( the black pudding was 1st class). Pat was very chatty and made us feel very comfortable and welcoming. He really recommended us were to eat at night and told us about different wee drives and things to go and see. It wasn't until the last morning that we got to meet Linda. She was lovely and was working like a trojan in the kitchen. We will be back and I highly recommend this to everyone. You will love it here and you will want to return.Chris, Port Glasgow UK
"Friendly and comfortable"
My friend and I stayed an overnight in two single rooms which were very clean and comfortable. Loved the sheets and the wee teddy bear on our beds. Patrick and Lorna work very hard but always with a smile and a chat. Breakfast was great with plenty choice. Parking off road a bonus although tight spaces and a little awkward if others don't park correctly. We drove into town and ate in the Waterfront Restaurant which if you eat before 6.45pm you get an outstanding deal and food is fantastic. Would definitely stay again. Thanks guys will come for a sunset next time hopefully!Anne, Edinburgh UK
We stayed just one night in a family room. Lorna and Patrick are lovely hosts and very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable and suited us fine. We all slept well and enjoyed a great English breakfast the next morning. Unlike the previous review we had no trouble finding the B&B and it was a short drive to the town centre. Highly recommended.Mchnurse, Melbourne Australia
